How to keep in-touch while traveling abroad
It's not news that communication while traveling to a different country is not cheap, especially these days when more and more services are depending on internet and data. So how can we still get in touch with our love ones, or much more important - post our fun to Instagram, and still don't pay hundreds of dollars to cell phone companies?!

1. Relay on Public free Wifi.
Coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, public parks, etc.. Alot of places understand the need and will provide their customers with free internet access. Though while this will probably be the cheapest way to go, it won’t actually be available anytime, because you'll actually need to seat in a coffee shop for it.
2. Buy a local Sim card.
Today, most network providers have adapted themselves to the need of the "short term customer" with many unlimited pre-paid plans, which means - it can fit perfectly as well for the occasional tourist. When getting to a new country, just go in a local store and ask about their prepaid plans. For 40-50 bucks you can get a local number and line with a nice plan of unlimited everything that will keep you connected for your entire vacation.
3. T-Mobile Costumers - Just go. Others - Ask you provider.
If your a customer of the magenta company, you don't need to do nothing. Just go. T-Mobile is providing their 'Simple Choice' customers with Free Data and Text while roaming outside of the US, and a very low rate for incoming and outgoing calling. You don't need to do nothing, just open your phone when you land, and keep on as usual.
If you are a customer of another provider, it's highly recommended to touch base with them before you go, alot of providers will have plans for travels who are roaming to a different country. Those are not, will kindly block roaming services for you, so you won't be supposed on your next bill.

4. Buy 2 El-Al tickets from us - Get a free simcard for you trip to Israel.
Unlimited incoming and outgoing calls, 3GB of data - All free for you Israel trip, provided by us. A nice way to enjoy a trip and not be worried about communication expanses.
5. The most important thing - Being in charge.
If you are not planning on one of the options above, and will just use occasional Wifi - Block roaming option. Either local on your phone or by your provider on your account.
Use internet based services - Remember - WhatsApp, Skype, Facebook, ooVoo and many more - are all based on internet, and will not influent your cell account if you are not connected to cell data.
